Kajira creative christmas contest

Tis the season of giving. Christmas is upon us. A wonderful feeling, chilly weather, snow on the ground...warm fires, rushing around gathering items, putting up decorations, creating a festive mood.

Everyone knowsa that a kajira cannot own anything. That doesn't mean that a kajira can't still give a gift, still can't show her love and devotion, to a Master, a Mistress, or to a fellow slave.

This contest is open to all, but is from the viewpoint of a slave. Using your creativity, submit a notecard detailing your idea....do you do extra chores? Have you written a poem? did you use your best silks to create a purse for your Mistress? Did you trade chores to someone, to get the items to create a rose-scent for their bathwater? Did you spend your time, to just make a lop-sided half-baked coffee mug?

There are so many things that can happen from the viewpoint of a slave...we were allowed some items from our Masters...or could find ways of getting them otherwise...show your creativity, and show how you would express your Holiday Spirit.

So, come to House of the Axe Gorean Market, and stop in the tavern building next to Treasured Lily Designs...look at the board for the current sponsors, and up-to-date prizes. Place your submission in the mailbox there. This can be in any format....perhaps you have written a story about it? Roleplayed it out with a sister? Written a poem about it? Use all of your creativity, to let us know...impress us!

If you speak another language, or know someone else who speaks another language, do not let this stop you (or them) from entering. I will ask for translations of any entries in other languages, I hope that ANYONE will enter.

Contest runs from Monday, 12/8, to Friday, 12/19. Announcements should be made by Sunday, 12/21. There will also be random awards from various merchants, awarded then.

There is a red box, marked "Letters to Santa". This is where you need to drop your notecard. Please write up your submission on there, and include a full-perm copy of your picture, and any items necessary (if you made an item for your Master, include a picture, or a full-perm copy of the item, if you want to give it to everyone. Did you sing a song? include a fullperm copy of the sound file). I will take these cards, and place them up on the board. Then you wil be up for vote!

There will be 3 ways to earn a prize. First, there will be a judgement of a panel of 5 judges (to be determined). With this, there will be prizes of 1st, 2d, and 3d place. 2d, there will be a popular vote contest. This contest will have 1st, 2d, and 3d places, also. The 3d will be a merchant's favorite. Those merchants that are located here in House of the Axe, and other merchants, may choose to sponsor a prize, choosing whom THEY feel was the best, most original, most heartfelt, quirky, written in their language...whatever they decide to base their decision on.

5-judge panel:
$1000 - 1st
$500 - 2d
$300 - 3d

Popularity:
$500 - 1st
$300 - 2d
$200 - 3d
plus, will divide the $L earned with the popularity 50%, 30%, 20%
